Who are we?

Sexological Bodyworkers believe that sexual health and erotic education are basic human rights.

We are trained and certified Sexological Bodyworkers who offer a variety of educational modalities including hands-on bodywork, coaching and consultation.

Sexological Bodywork is not a sexual service and we do not act as surrogate partners. We remain clothed and the touching in our sessions is one-directional, from us to you. Students who want to learn interpersonal skills are welcome to bring a partner.

What is it?

Sexological Bodywork is somatic sex education that teaches through body-based techniques.

These techniques can include coaching in breath, movement, body awareness, boundary-setting, communication, anatomy, sensate focus, massage, erotic trance, and other body-based teaching about sex.

Sexological Bodywork sessions assist students in developing presence within their body, opening to their interior awareness, and learning how the body can feel more alive.

Sessions offered by trained and certified professionals adhere to the code of professional conduct and ethics outlined by the Association of Certified Sexological Bodyworkers. (http://sexologicalbodyworkers.org/ethics).

Who is it for?

Sexological bodywork and somatic sex education is for anyone interested in addressing sexual challenges and blocks, and in expanding their capacity for pleasure.

Common reasons people seek out Sexological Bodywork range from premature ejaculation, difficulty with orgasm, and addressing issues of body image and shame.

Individuals can learn how to navigate consent, boundaries and communication in intimate relationship and tap into their desire and their erotic potential. Couples can learn to navigate sexual differences and explore new erotic possibilities with body-based learning and guided practice.

What it's not!

Sexological Bodywork services are not clinical, but rather educational. We are committed to complementing and extending the effectiveness of services offered by psychotherapists and other health care professionals and value working in close partnership with these professionals with a student’s approval.
