Garland, MSW is a Sex and Intimacy Coach, Sacred Intimate, healer, spiritual teacher, and somatic educator. His desire for a healthier world is the foundation of his work; the health of the world is in the health of the individual - as the individual heals so do their relationships, their communities, and the planet.
His journey has brought him from the altars of Western Christendom to the embodied practices of Eastern Tantra and, as a Gay Black Male, coupled with his experience as a Social Worker, sexual health educator, and coach, he stands passionately at the intersections of race, spirituality, and sexuality.
His practice is an evolving exploration in how individuals can re-member (assemble again) their instinctive knowledge of how to be fully Divine and fully embodied. His other passions are art, music, the written and spoken word, and travel.

Sexological Bodywork is one of the coolest wellness modalities presently “coming out” in my opinion! I’m passionate about this work and its potential to reach into the deep and vulnerable parts of us with unconditional acceptance, welcoming us back home in our bodies; and its likelihood of bringing out our sparkly life-force energy, eroticism and delight.
I have a Christian background (as a missionary kid in SE Asia!) where I learned not to trust my body, sex, pleasure or my NO. My own journey of sexual awakening and self trust over the past decade has changed my life and how I feel in my own skin so profoundly that the first time I saw the words ‘Sexological Bodyworker’ I said “F*ck yeah! That’s what I'm going to do next!”
And so I am!

I love to work with vulvas and anus’s, no’s and yes’s, and ceremonies. I work with individuals, couples and groups, in Seattle and areas north, including Orcas Island and Bellingham.
I spent nearly 3 decades in a committed relationship raising 4 amazing humans, and am now on a Solo-journ. In my spare time, you may find me hiking, at a contact improv jam, swimming in the ocean, or playing my pink ukulele!

Shawn Dylan works with people wanting to incorporate more eroticism into their lives. I've had my hands on people professionally for over 30 years, first 20 years as a Chiropractor, and later as a Body Electric School trained Sacred Intimate, Certified Sexological Bodyworker, and several other modalities.
These days I am most passionate about helping other hands-on professionals learn how to assess what is most useful for their clients and students, and how they can teach them to become fully empowered in their desires and choices.
